![]() Just an update on Lexie since we bought her from Pin Oak Kennels in Purdy, MO and see that they are still producing Yorkies and Morkies, which should be a red flag also to people seeking quality Yorkies. Anyway, we had surgery done on Lexie's liver shunt May, 2011 to the tune of $2,700 (not that that isn't worth it), but when you spend $1,000 on a dog, you would think you might get a "healthy" dog. Anyway, her last test in December 2012, show that the surgery is working and she continues to improve. One thing you might also notice if you are viewing Pin Oak Kennels website is that they do not show the parents of these puppies. This is not a reputable breeder of registered Yorkies. We learned a hard lesson, but if this keeps even one person from buying from them, it is worth it. The sad thing is these puppies are the ones suffering. We had to put Lexie through 2 surgeries to get this hereditary problem fixed. My suggestion is to buy from a breeder that shows dogs or do your homework before purchasing. We didn't and it cost us and Lexie.

![]() Back in February 2002 I had a small female yorkie shipped to me from pin oak kennels mo.she came to us filthy and not bathed. We took her home and gave her a bath right away. To make a really long story short, we named her Punkin. She was lived tremendously from me and my husband and our 2 other yorkies. She had been an autistic dog since we had her.she has had numerous health issues which include skin problems, heart failure started around the age of 8, also we think she also had a brain tumor. We had to put her to sleep yesterday and me and my husband are so devastated. We had her on meds for years and she started to get more and more fluid in her lungs.also her Brain tumor got so bad the last few days that she was walking backwards and in circles. Im writing this because I found your pin oak kennels threads threw Google. I believe they should be shut down. Im so upset that I found them on Facebook and sent them a message telling them my story.Punkin had an awesome life, and we took very good care for her, but her health was never good. Im do upset right now. How can people breed like this. It is so unfair to them. And the owners who think they are getting a quality healthy puppy.

![]() I just want to say that we purchased a yorkie from Pin Oaks in Feb. 2003 and we have not had any problems with Mr. Doodles. I would not be afraid to purchase another yorkie from them.
