Why do you think it's mean and spiteful to put a breeders real name on a tag? Everyone tells us to research, research, reseach, but if a breeder doesn't use their real name, how do you do that? It's really easy to change the name of a website, or a yorkietalk user name, not as easy to change your real name. A breeder who sells on Yorkietalk should use their real name, and if they won't, that tell me so much about their breeding program.

As far as Dee taking the female out of her breeding program? When did she do that? June 27, 2010 the same day she just had her current litter.

For someone who has not even PM\'ed Dee, you know an awful lot about her breeding program.

I was going to mention this as well. She did NOT remove the dogs from her breeding program. She is still breeding Ceeby. She is still breeding Ceeby\'s daughter Sadie. She also has two females out of Sadie that she kept. I am assuming she is breeding them as well, unless she has sold them. I think this is the problem. Every breeder has a problem or two come up at some point. It\'s how they deal with it that makes the difference. This breeder having these issues in her lines and continuing to perpetuate the problem speaks volumes of her character.

Because I dont think Renee's purpose for starting this thread was to ruin Dees name over the entire internet. Nor do I think what Dee has done warrants it. I agree she should have let her know about the open font. but she is now saying she is going to refund Renees monies and there have also been efforts to do it in the past. IM not taking a side beI see both sides but I think the tagging and using nameswas mean and cruel and its all of the sudden became commonplace on here

When you list a dog for sale on YT, you have to use your real name.

Yes it has, I've even seen posters remind others to put in tags. Just seems a bit excessive to me.

I agree I quess its the new form of bullying and harrassment. I dont agree with Dee at all but I dont think whats been done to her is right either

Many of you all are to be commended for studying pedigrees, genetics, ethics, etc, just as Dee has done and is evident by her posts and pedigrees of the dogs she has that came from many well known show lines.

However, I feel some here still need schooling in the areas of tact, human kindness, compassion and just basic love for the emotions and well being of others.

Breeders here have been using tags on their nursery threads so that people could find their threads through google. Tags can help them sell their dogs, so they should also be used to inform people about breeding practices.

I dont see anything wrong with that it is how they are being used now that is wrong. If I see that someone who does it actually posts on the thread and says they are going to tag that person then I wont think its so cowardly. Then it will be in the open and members of the forum can decide for themselves if its right or wrong

I take that back I dont even like them used for that reason because its like they are advertising for puppies. To be honest I wish they would get rid of the tags
