Scary! The 1.5 stud looks to be a recent aquistion, as she was advertising on Ebay classifieds for one in our area just last month. As I said, my kids, didn't like the look of her "yorkie" pups. Looks like now she just trying to breed for tinies. Anything that sells, huh? Sad. |

False AKC papers. I decided to do some homework on a dog that I was interested on that I came across on tinytreasuresyorkiepups.com. I like to know what lines the pups have come from before I buy them. I emailed her to find out who the parents were and where their lines came from. She sent me the mothers pedigree but hesitated on the fathers. However insisted he was AKC registered and was asking $2900 for him. I asked for his registered name so that I could do a research pedigree on him and she ignored the question. Within a few hours she had decided that pup was going to go as a pet only, so I moved on with my search. Recently I noticed that the same puppy is on her site now as a future stud and has his registered name up on her site. So I did a research pedigree on his name. To my shock that puppy is registered to who she says is her chewy and Cheyenne. However the pedigree claims that chewy is also out of one of Cheyennes previous litters. I talked to starlight yorkies where she purchased her zues from and Katherine from starlight says chewy is out of her lines and has been registered with the wrong papers. For anyone who wants all of these documents. They can be searched on AKC.org or I have copies of them. This is really a buyer beware. If you don't care about papers on your dog and just want a pet then don't worry. But for those of you that care. This is against AKC policy and she should be stopped. |

When I was looking for my second puppy I saw her website, called, then emailed the lady from Tiny Treasures Yorkie Pups and she showed me the girls she had available. The pups looked much older than she claimed they were at the time. When I asked for more pictures of a particular puppy she sent me a picture of a completely different puppy. At the time I was obsessed with finding the right dog so all I did was research and pretty much look at yorkie faces all day. I swear it wasn't the same dog. Maybe someone who was clueless would buy into it, but I didn't. When I asked for more pictures I told her I was a bit suspicious because the puppies did not look the same. She assured me everyone whose ever bought from her was satisfied. I insisted on more pictures so she said she'd send me some when she got home. She kept hurrying me to put down a deposit because all of a sudden, some "lady" from my area wanted the same dog. I kept saying I needed more time. When I told her to forget it, that I needed to be sure and that I couldn't make a decision so fast, she then told me the woman had decided not to buy the female. LOL it sounded so shady. I insisted again she show me more pictures of this said female puppy because I had only seen two and they looked like completely different dogs, but she never did. Never even emailed me back. Anyway as soon as I saw the picture of the second puppy, which looked like it was taken by a camera phone, I was turned off. Poor puppy didn't even look like it had a nose. I didn't want to buy from her the moment she tried to fool me with two different dogs. I believe I still have the emails which I don't mind digging up. |
