| petco groomers- GRRRRR!!!!!! I just picked up Jacks from there and the ladies there were rolling their eyes and completely verbally abusing the dogs right in front of me! One poor baby was shaking and the other was barking cause she was scared. The groomers were pulling on the dogs face to get it to look at her, and the other was saying "Oh heaven forbid you touch a dog while you're grooming them!" She was being totally saracstic but if I was that dog I'd be barking too!! He should have bitten her hand off! Needless to say I began to freak out over what they must have done to my baby. I doubt he sat like a perfect statue for them! And his poor belly was burning hot and he was panting. I gave him some of my bottled water and by the time we got home his temp seemed fine, thank God. A call to the manager seemed futile. He sounded all about 17 and didn't really sound concerned at all! I'm so pissed!

| Is there someone higher than the manager that you could call? I would certainly take this all the way up to head office! I think if it had been me, I would have ended up in jail for assault......

| You know, the thought did cross my mind. And I even asked the manager what sort of training they went through. His answer was, "Ugh, training and classes. " Well, freaking duh!! But what kind?! And I asked if they were background checked and he was like, "ugh yeah" wtf?! How would I go about going higher than this manager?

My Lil Man! Donating Member | you could try contacting the main petco people...like up at the corporate office and strongly voice your concerns and let them know that something has got to be done or you will make sure to spread word to everyone you know and beyond to NOT ever go back to petco for anything and to spread word to their friends as well. Be sure you tell them the exact store so they can look into it or whatever they do. I am in a similar postition with walmart photo center...they screwed my pictures up and claim there is nothing they can do and tried to blame it on ME!!!! I talked to the manager but he didnt really care either so I told them all that I would be going above their heads and I would not rest until I had their jobs. Lol. They kinda panicked a little then and tried to talk to me but I just walked away telling them its too late. I hate when people dont do their job right and then when confronted that they are wrong, try to make it seem like you are an idiot and dont know what your talking about. GRRR! Lol. Good luck with this!! Let us know how it goes!! |

My Lil Man! Donating Member | good idea! Never hurts to try! The humane society will look into it without anyone there knowing they are with the humane society so they can see how things are done everyday cause everyone knows they are perfect angels when they know someone important to their job is coming in! |
