| Dont let her eat any of the cord that is still attached..or at least I wouldnt think so..but it is normal for her to eat the placenta!! Dawn |

| Be sure it is tied and cut neatly (not too short). If you have some iodine, you should apply that to it to help it to dry quicker. Coming home after baby, I use to use alcohol to help my boys dry up so in a pinch I'm sure that would work. As long as it as fleshy they may bother it. If she continues to, she may open the puppy open up. |

| Here she is.. Okay. I think she's just licking at the umbilical cord..anyway...she's 5 1/2 healthy ozs!! I could only get a quick pic of her because Diva was going crazy so I'm going to let them finish bonding. I will get a better pic of her later or tomorrow!! I'm so happy!
