| Active labor usually starts 24 -48 hours after temp drops. Since her temp could have dropped last night after her last reading pups could come tonight. If you don't want to take off work prematurely see if you can take her with you. Teddi dropped Sat. night but didn't deliver until Mon. afternoon, we spent Sun. on puppywatch anyway. Good Luck, may you have a good whelping.

| After reading yesterday she had some mucus coming out. I'd have someone stay with her. It could be today or even tomorrow, they have their little minds set to when But it would be best to have a 24 hour watch on her now that she's starting. Best of luck to you!

| If your work will allow it, I would definitely take today and tomorrow off. If you're up all night delivering puppies, you won't want to work tomorrow anyway. Plus, it's just a good idea to watch them closely for the first few days.

| I'd stay at home with her. I'd be afraid to leave her alone.

| My pregnant bitches when due to whelp are never left alone, if I have to work I take my bitch to my vet which I trust or I wouldn't take her. I cant' bring to work because I work in a school. When she is in labor I then take off and go pick her up or stay at vet's if she's delivering I"m right there. Then once puppies are born I am off work for several days. I've been lucky and have had puppies during the summer and I'm off anyway. BUT NEVER LEAVE HER ALONE ONCE THE TEMP STAYS DROPPED! Actually I start puppy watch starting at 56 days Donna Bird Brooklynn's Yorkshire Terriers |

| No Babies Yet!!!! I had the puppy watchers over while I went to work. I got home and took her temp to see if it's still down, it's 99.0, so do you think she's till in the beginning stages or false alarm, I mean it's still down alot it was running 100.1 before yesterday.

I wouldn't say it's a false alarm because she was leaking yesterday. Might be a long night for ya, or a long day tomorrow. Best of Luck!
