| Im sorry im no help. I would call a vet and ask. I would also make sure momma does not mess with it, thinking somethings wrong with her young she might try and chew on it, not knowing any better. |

| Very sad. So sorry you had to deal with that. I am very emotional too but I agree with Yorkieshadow I think I would have taken the baby in to have it looked at, just in case!! |

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | I am so sorry that you had to deal with the decision of putting the puppy to sleep. Those decisions can't be easy to make and I'm sure you did what you felt was best. Good luck to you, the mama, and the remaining baby. Can't wait to see pictures.

| Hi Cindy....so sorry to hear about the puppy...just wondering on an update...I would have taken the pup in just to be sure....it's hard to go by something over the phone...could it have been just a little bruised from the birthing process...just as it is when we have babies...some have swollen heads, redness on the head, etc. but we don't rush to think something's permanently wrong....let alone fatal. So I'm hoping you opted for a 2nd opinion but if not, my prayers go out to you for having to deal with the loss. Good Luck with the female!! Yolanda |
