No I haven't called yet. waiting to see if it's going to soften up or what. Hoping there is a breeder that has had experience with this symptom. We just moved here and I'm not real impressed by the new vet we have. | |

| I've been gently massaging his tummy to get things moving, still round and hard. See that's the thing though. I don't know if he has went or not because I'm keeping him with his mom so she may have pooped him. Just not sure. This little guy is going to be the death of me! Bless his little heart though, he has been such a fighter this whole week, it's his 1 week birthday.Believe me you guys I'm really working hard for him. I haven't left the house in 7 days. I'm exhausted with the all night and all day feedings because he still won't latch on. I'm not going to give up. |

| OMG I am so sorry to hear this. One thing that I read on one of the other posts I believe last week is to take his back legs and move them around. I will search around here and see what others have done. Good luck. I know that you are fighting for this little guy. Keep it up. I am praying for you.

| My vet said to take him in to a vet. This could be really bad and should be seen by a doctor. Is there another vet that you could maybe go see down there?

| So... we're back from the vet ( the one i'm not in love with, but I was in a hurry) We get there and the vet says, so have you been making sure he defecates? I'm like, Yeah (does he think I'm an idiot?) He took a wet paper towel and do you know that the little stinker POOPED for the vet!!!! I was soooo embarrassed. But extremely happy, I tried all morning to get him to go. The vet said we could do an x-ray if I wanted him to. I said no, because the puppy seemed more pliable around the stomach. I told ya, he is going to be the death of me! So that was a $45.00 poop and well worth it!!! what next! |
