Vet unsure if pregnant??

Diva has definitely gained. At the vet on Friday, she was 8 lbs....she's normally 6.5 to 7 lbs...I'm thinking closer to 7 when she got pg..Saturday 9/22, would put her at 35 days, start of 5th week. I will start really paying attention to belly swelling and movement now...I'll take some pics this week!

Oh Yolanda, if Diva was 6.5 lbs and now weighs 8lbs....surely she is pregnant! Have you decided what you're going to do to find out? I'm still not sure what the vet will be able to do with a visit 2 weeks after your first one last Friday except to look at her and say "yep, she's expecting!". My office visit with Lexie last week to confirm pregnancy was $25 and I was told her x-rays on the 12th would run between $25-$55 dollars depending on how many angles they look at. My fingers are still crossed for postive outcome for Diva's pregnancy, so keep me informed. Woohoo, looks like we have Teddi's prenancy/birth to watch out for too. Hooray, October puppies here we come!

Here's a pic of Diva's belly at around day 31, last week. Being a 1st timer, I didn't think to take a pic of it right after mating so I'll just have to go from here!! She would be about 36 days now.

I would say she is expecting!! Congratulations!
Did you sahve her belly or is it just hair loss from her being pregnant?

I didn't shave her hair, however, she did have a groomer appt last week and the groomer did know she's expecting but didn't mention whether or not she took it upon herself to shave it a little...she does know that as we get closer and if I confirm she is, I'll have her trim a little more but what I did was just took what hair was in the way and brushed it out of the way for the picture...now that you mention it, I think she may have thinned out down there too. I'll take more pics soon!

it is very hard to tell. my coco has a pop belly but she is not pregnant.
you should know very soon if she is. they get large overnight.
