Update Please Curious to see if Nelly started labor yet??? Kim |
Just looking for an update. Praying that your girl and puppys are all fine. |
Still no puppies, we spent the night on the couch and her in her whelping box. She is acting very strange this morning, we took her outside and she would not do anything, wouldnt go to the bathroom she just laid in the rocks right off our patio. She is acting very strange. |
How are you & Nelly doing this evening? any news Yet??? |
Still nothing, her temp was back up to 100.1 this morning, will be checking her temp shortly again. She was acting very strange last night and was in her whelping box and scratching a little bit last night, but nothing and was back to her kind of normal stage today. She is having a mucus discharge. Ill update on her temp when i take it shortly. |
Her temp is now 98.9 ANY DAY NOW...... lol |
I bet the pups will arrive in the wee hours of the morning. Are there any discernable contractions? |

Still nothing this morning, she again this morning is just walking back and forth over and over. I could feel one of the puppies moving a little bit this morning. I have always hated the waiting game, lol |
Nelly I'm new to the site and have been reading on Nelly and her labor! Bless her heart! I have an almost 13 year old Yorkie which I breed once when she was 1 1/2 yaers old for my parents to have a Yorkie pup. Never again will I put a beloved pet nor myself thru that again!!!!! I hope all is well with her and the puppies. They are a wonderful site! Keep us posted on the progress! May God bless all of you... |
I can always tell if my yorkie is ready to deliver because she will start scratching up a blanket or cushion. Also if you lightly squeeze one of her tit and get milk she is close to delivery. But be sure not to squeeze too much or do this often. Good luck. T. |
Any Update on Nelly? |
Hi, Quick question for all you breeders out there - and others...I brought home a new yorkie this afternoon - he's about 10 weeks and he was being fed Science Diet Original Puppy Food. So I went out and bought some and he won't eat it. Also, he's not drinking that I can see... although earlier his face was all wet so he must've stuck his head in the bowl when I wasn't watching...any suggestions ? P.S.Also, I'm techno challanged and I don't know how to start a new thread! |

relax- she will be fine - shes just taking her time. the pups have more time to grow - especially if it took those last few days of mating. |
It's when you stop watching the pot that it boils. |

Following this thread. I guess Nelly will go when she's good and ready! |
This is true. Didnt take her temp yet today. Had to spend the day at my dads as he was in the emergency room this morning, Tuesday his dog tripped him and he fell down a flight of stairs. Will take her temp shortly and update. |
Just started reading this thread today and good luck.. I'm sure the puppies will be here soon.. maybe even tonight! =] Can't wait to check back tomorrow morning! |

Although I do believe Nelly is extremly close  I wouldn't take letting her milk down as much of a real indication that the day is apon us. Lilly was extracting milk on monday, and didn't start her labour until Saturday... 5 days later. I too am watching this thread & checking in at least twice a day to see how she is doing... cant wait to hear how many little bundles of joy she has :) Crossing fingers she has safe & quick delivery for you ;) |
Watching this thread with anticipation!! Hope all is well! Update.........? |
WOW I would have thought we would have babies.. Hoping for updates soon;) |
