| This is probably not the case here, but there have been times when a vet has said the pups were dead and then taken the pups himself. Man, why can't everyone just be honest!! I sure hope she gets some answers and closure. I would be very angry. Something just doesn't sound right. The fact that she couldn't even see the pups???? Sounds very fishy! And then to do the section without prior approval? No calls to say what was happening??? When my little girl had a C section I stayed there and watched the whole thing and the vet let me stay as long as I wanted afterwards.

| Sorry to read about your friends loss. Concerning metal staples, my maltese was just sectioned and spayed 2 days ago and has them. A few have fallen out but it probably doesn't help that the puppies are all over her looking looking for a good meal. She was spayed and she sure doesn't have the milk supply she normally does with a normal delivered litter (despite feeding puddings and such), hopefully her milk will be coming in real soon. |

| Wow! Thats an amazing story and I would have had the same reaction. Sounds to me like the Vet possibly took pups for profit! How in the world did she not even get to see the pups? And they were moving prior to going to the Vet... that just sounds so off the wall and very unfortunate! Out of curiousity, I would definately keep an eye out on for puppies for sale in your area. Sooooo sorry for your loss 8(
