breny, I am so glad about the babies. i hope Meiah feels better soon. What in the world was the vet thinking when he let her labor so long? But it worked out alright. i have had to have two c-sections and had my girls spayed at the same time. Thank goodness, my vet is cheap. It is something like $265. for it all. credit Cards are great!!!!!! congratulations and take good care of mama and babies.

I use to do that too, have them spayed at the same time but I found out years ago, that actually they are more at risk to bleed out by doing this.
It is best not to both at the same time. Too big of chance for them to bleed out.
So now I do not do that. I give them time to recoop then go back for the spay.
Just wanted to mention this is something I learned over the years.

Well this wasn't my vet it was a 24 hour ER vet, soooooooo thats why. But still, my vet charged me $600.00 for a section in 2006.

Lets just say I was introduced to Care Credit today I always wondered what it was and now I know!

I am so glad both of the pups and mom are okay. I think I might know what vet you took her too (if it is the one you said on here your vet recommends for emergencies) which is Ellie's vet. Pretty expensive, huh? It cost $600 to get 9 teeth pulled and a cleaning.

You know, I was such a wreck I don't even remember. They said it was the best surgeon there...Hubby thinks wecker or something like that? honestly, I wasn't all there, I was just worried about meiah.

I can imagine. I would have been a total wreck. It was probably the owner Dr. K (weird last name) or Dr. Hackel (the best surgeon there). Ellie doesn't see either. The puppies are so adorable.

Hubby said Hackel sounds like it could be??? Heck I have no clue! It was my 1st time there and I wasn't happy being there. I do know there was some whacky chick there working the night shift though. WHOA! LOL

Congratulations on the two new babies, what a night you had!!! I am so glad that everything is working out for the new family. I have had the c-sections in the middle of the night after a long labor, it is very stressful.

Thank you!!!! I don't know whats wrong with me!!!! I think I am on such an adrenalen rush and its keeping me going but I bet I crash hard!
