New Update Brenda & Meiah
 

This is why I dont like to do updates...

I have to apologize to EVERYONE especially Brenda. As I was reading her text messages it was said that just Meiah was coming home, therefore miscommunication on my end and jumping to conclusions.

Both babies SURVIVED the 13 hours of labor. She has a alittle baby boy (Mikey) and a baby girl (Miracle). Neither have been weighed yet, as they are on the way home from the ER Vet an hour away!

Thanks everyone ! Unfortunatley I've been up since 8am Sunday with no sleep and my txt's aren't that great anyways and I left words out and so at that point I didn't know if the little girl had made it and my txt wasn't very clear. (very emotional last 24 hours!)

But the good news is.............. 1 boy and 1 girl :)

I am so HAPPY! Get some rest! We can wait for pictures until later. Just don't forget to post :) . So glad it had a happy ending.

I am in tears I am so happy!!! All those prayers helped. I was wondering how I was going to get 2 of my 7 up to you LOL!!!! I can't wait for the weights and details...even if bad. I am so glad all turned out well. Please give each of them a kiss from ALL of us!!

Well meiah went into labor about 10:13pm Sunday night, her water broke around 1:30 and then I was getting nervous.

I paged my vet TWICE and he never called me back. I even left two detailed messages. They have called me 4 times today and I am just so mad I didn't take any of the calls.

I ended up going to a 24 hour ER thats about one hour from me. We left at 3AM I think???? don't remember) and then didn't get home until 1pm today. We had to leave Meiah.

She ended up having 1 boy on her own around 7am ish but then the other pup never came but was in line and right there by the xray. She was pushing and we did get a bubble but she was just worn out. So around noon today (13 hours later) they took her for a c section.

I just knew the baby would be dead. How could it survive that long???? But when I called they said she was fine! I'm calling her Miracle (well just because she is, but I can't keep her) And the Boy I'm calling Mikey. (not keeping him, he just looks like a Mikey) So they are Meiah's Mikey and Miracle.

Meiah is now retired. I was going to have them spay her but they wanted me to pay $500 :eek: :eek: :eek: So we have to wait for that, but my babies days of having babies are over.

Hopefully I'll get some sleep soon, but I'm keeping an eye on Mikey, he seems weaker than the girl who was in there the 13 hours! She's pretty strong!

We just got home from going and picking up Meiah and her 2 pups.

He weighs 4 oz and she weighs 4 1/2 oz.

What a crazy, crazy last 30 some hours I've had.

Oh, WHEW! I'm so glad that the babies are okay and that Meiah is also:love: Hopefully you'll be able to get some rest soon.

That is such good news,we all thought you lost your pups. I bet you are emotionaly spent!

Oh you don't have to apologize!!!!! I was so upset when I was trying to tell you what was going on and being sleep deprived and emotional there was miscommunication on my end for sure!

I was so devistated by the c section and the most likely dead pup. I know I wasn't making sense!!!!
