| It probably is a good idea to keep the pups until at least 4 months and neuter them before they go if possible. |

| I'm not a breeder, but I just want to chime in for a second if you ladies don't mind In regards to spaying/neutering before they go to their homes... I think this is a wonderful idea! As a buyer, I would not mind buying a puppy that's 6 months of age and already spayed/neutered. I would actually welcome it! Actually, when I bought my maltese, she was 7 months old with limited registration and spayed. Ladyhawk, I pray that you are able to work this out with the lady that bought the pup. I really hope that she decides not to breed the pup. I can't believe that she's considering even doing this, as I know that she was told upfront that she was only getting limited registration...Geez!! Maybe by telling her the dangers of breeding and the risks involved and everything that goes into it?? People will hear what they want to hear though, so she may not even take those things into consideration. Good luck and keep us posted!!!
