It's going to be a very long night, but I have my comfy chair ready with a good book... right next to the refrigerator! Hope your night goes easier. I'll keep checking back.

I keep telling myself that I'm not going to take her temp anymore and I'm like you, I do it anyway. I think we're over doing it! LOL! Stormy is not pleased with me and the thermometer. She's had enough and is letting me know I'll be in my bed with my laptop and Stormy will be sharing the bed with me. She's so funny, right now she is rolling around on the bed and growling at herself! She almost fell off the bed I'll be checking in too.

| My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | LOL ! Isn't that the truth! I'm going through that now! Mine were born yesterday and I'm sleeping (well trying) right next to them and with every little peep I'm flying up and checking on them. Plus I'm supplimenting the littlest one until he's eating on his own. Yeah - no sleep for a long time! |

I hope your littlest baby will be eating on his own real soon. The worrying never ends.

I was up all night with her and Hubby came to relieve me at 6:00AM . Penny has never gone this far over her due date, but I guess if the puppies are not ready to come out into the world...then I should be a bit more patient? LOLI have not taken her temp this morning yet, but I am beginning to feel like ... " a watched pot never ..... " . LOL Hopefully, today will be the day, with DAY being the operative word. Ha!

				   | UUGGHH!! I thought for sure you would have puppies. Since her temp got down to 98.2, I bet she will be in labor within 24 hours. I, like you, will accept the "DAY" delivery. I'm going to check her temp again later to see if it has fallen lower than 98.8, like the last couple of times. I read on the temp taking and it says that anything below 98.4 and labor should start within 24 hours. If it doesn't, it says to call the vet. Of course there were a ton of other articles saying anything between 99.-98. I believe the one on the 98.4 I'm trying to be patient too, thinking the same as you, that they'll come when they're ready. It just needs to be NOW! LOL! Stormy is very droopy and sad looking this morning. She's acting really weird. I'm sure she's beat too. Oh, do you know how many puppies your girl is having? I'll keep you updated! |

I do not know how many puppies to expect, as we gave up on taking x-rays after her third litter. They were always incorrect and seemed to cause more fear and anguish than actually helping. Of course I always take them in for their first pregnancy to make sure that there isn't a problem. She has consistently had four puppies with each of her pregnancies, so I am assuming that she will have the same. Although she really is pretty big this time, especially compared to Lily who is just ten days behind on the due date. Lily hardly looks like she is pregnant at all. Penny is looking pretty bad this morning and she appears to be as tired as I am... and she is digging quite a bit. She also refused her breakfast...which for Penny is huge. Ha! I'm hoping, more for her sake than mine, that she has them soon. How about Stormy? Do you know how many she is expecting?

Stormy isn't doing any digging, which I thought she would be by now. She has the real fast, short breathing and more discharge. She was having contractions during the night because I could feel them. They were every 7 minutes for an hour and I stopped feeling for them after that. She's had several more this morning because she would come walking to me with those sad eyes and I could see her tummy and feel it. It was hard as a rock. I didn't have her xrayed. The vet palpated her early in the pregnancy when the puppies were about walnut size. He said 3, maybe 4. I think 4, maybe 5 but then again look how right I've been on her having them already I'll keep checking for updates but I believe you are going to be busy today | |

I think Stormy is planning on carrying these puppies 9 months! ryorkies seems to have alot of positive things going her way as to her girl having puppies today, or in the wee hours of the morning. Do you know how many puppies Zoe is having?

				   | Just checking in and I see to my amazement that there are still no puppies. Once again I hope this is the lucky day for both of you and the wait is over. You guys must be exhausted. |
