| One ear up and one ear down! Zachary will be 4 months old on the 4th of August. He has one ear that stays up and the other one doesn't stand up at all. I had the groomer trim one third of the hair off last month. He goes back this coming Tuesday and as much as I hate to have the hair shaved off both sides of his ears, I am going to have it done. I will wait a couple weeks to see if the ear that isn't up now will go up on it's own, if not, I guess I will try taping it and see what happens. I have people tell me that they like the one ear up and one down, but I am hoping to have both of them up soon. But, I would like them to be up with hair, not shaved all the time. |

| They won't have to be completely shaved for ever...just 'til they're strong enough to stand up on their own. Wait and see, he may be going through the teething process too, I've heard they often fall down while teething.

| My daugters boy, Rascals ears use to flop then we trimmed the hair off his ears and taped them. We taped them for 3 to 4 days and waited till it drooped again and then we would retape them. We continued the process untilt they both stayed up. For a little .. one of them would flop.. Mostly when he was tired.. LOL it was to cute. But they both now stand up Very Nice. She didnt start taping his till he was around 5 mths.. but I heard if you waited till he was 6 mths that it gets iffy.

| Ears. Hi and thank you for the replies about the ears. I took Zachary to the groomers today and she shaved both of his ears. I am hoping that will do the trick. I won't start taping until he is a few weeks older. He will be 16 weeks tomorrow and four months old on the 4th of August. I will begin taking when he is close to the five months of age. Thanks again. |
