Fancee just whelped the last pup, so we're at 3 boys and a girl AND FINISHED. They weigh 4.8, 4.3, 3.9 and 3.1. All seems well and she's taking to this new mommy thing fairly well.

Maggie is due on Monday. This is her first litter and her belly is so heavy. She weighed 8lbs. before pregnancy and the father is 5lbs. The xrays showed 4 definite and 2 possible hiders. I have been following what the books say and what various websites on her progress into labor and I have to say she is making them all out to be false. I am patiently waiting and getting very little sleep.

Maggie's temps have been staying at 99.6 since 12 this afternoon. As of the time it is sunday morning and day 62 I have tried to sleep but I can't I don't want to miss anything.

We're at day 64 here. Temp is down to 98. I stayed up last night until 3 am because I really thought last night was it.

She is pacing and going in and out of the whelping pen...maybe we'll have a daytime delivery.....right.

you and me both. Maggies temps have stayed at 99.6 from 12pm yesterday til9:30pm yesterday then at 12am it was at 99.5 and today from 9am til 3pm it has been at 99.1 She is doing a breathy whinny sound and can't seem to find a comfortable position. she is at day 62. I am tired as a person can get. I keep trying to take a nap so I can be awake later but either the phone rings or the neighbors dogs start barking nonstop. So seeing as I will probably be asleep tonight that is when she will have them.

it was easy. she's so tired from carrying that load she just flops over..
I am hoping this is it cuz the waiting is too much. Everyone keeps saying they'll come when you least expect it but I hope not cuz I am always expecting them to make an appearance.
