Who is having July Puppies?

Well, we are still here. It is only day 61 so temp could go up and down so many more times--but she is so big and uncomfortable--I am afraid she is going to explode or float around like a punctured balloon. Ha-ha.

One Dam was Day 61; two dams were exactly 63 days. We'll see..

As to the 5 oz--I can't even begin to guess: I have had 6 puppies born in the last 6 months--all under 5 oz. Today: 7 month old is 5#. 5 mo old is 6#. 5 mo old is 3.2#; 4 mo old is 3.5#; 4 mo old is 6#; 4 mo old is 2.9#.

So enjoy while they grow.

Fancee's Day 63 with temp back up to 99.8, but I had to actually take her out of her whelping box this morning. My Mom and Grandson are watching her today.

You cant really say for sure. Some dogs grow pretty fast at first and then kind of slow down and others start out slower and then get a big growth spurt. Eight weeks will be a better decider.

Peaches did not go into labor last night. I dropped her off at the vet at 8:00 am ... I left out of there around 8:30ish. I called then at 12:40 and they still had not did the C-section/spay. I took her temp this morning and she was down to 99... does that mean she would have went into labor soon. I am going crazy with this waiting. Time is running sooooooooo Slow. I didnt get hardly any sleep last night. Maybe 2 and a half to maybe 3 hours.

Hard to say...my girls bounced all over the place 99-100 for a week and then dropped below to 98.3 the day she delivered....

We're still on puppy waiting watch mode. Temp came down a little today but she is laying her doing nothing. Maybe later today.

Fancee has 2 boys and 1 girl. My Mom didn't even bother to call me to come home. Now I'm off to take her to the vet for the o-shot.
