| surprises keep on happening.. I did ask for x-rays but they stated it couldn't be a for sure thing and just to wait. The vets I go to are really into homeopathic. Well..ok..if you didn't guess it by now..WE'VE HAD PUPPY NUMBER 6 ARRIVE!! All is well...three girls, three boys. But amazingly, I still feel a head in there and since they seem to be coming every three hours, I'm not going to stress over it. I will be calling the vet in the morning to let him know how everything went and if I still think it's a pup in there or all the placentas haven't come out. It's been a very long day for Tea' and she's resting, the pups are alternately nursing, resting...will post pics tomorrow! (taking a few days off from work for my new babies..lol) ps. thank you everybody for your replies...this is a great group! |

| Mom is about 5.5 pounds before becoming pregnant and the pup's daddy is about 3.5 pounds. This is her first pregnancy and his first attempt at becoming a dad (he's now legit and can prance around saying, look what I did I swear I can still feel one more pup tho... and she is still having contractions every once in awhile, so I don't dare fall asleep!! Maybe it's the rest of the placenta's coming out..but still, I want to be double triple sure. Debbie |

| That's so wonderful that she was able to have such a big litter. You must be thrilled. I will be anxious to see how everything comes out.

| Congratulations! Sounds like she has had a nice, big litter! I also clamp right after the puppy so I don't lose track of the placentas. Sometimes they eat them so fast, as it is coming out that you don't even realize it. Now that I clamp, it's keeping them from doing that.
