Any babies yet? My girls temp only dropped to 99.6 this time,usually they go to 99 or below but they are all different,and with each gestation it is different.
She will probably whelp just fine I am sure you are watching her like a hawk.And remember a watched yorkie never whelps.LOL
That is how I feell sometimes when I am waiting for pups,but they will go into labor when pups and her body is ready.
Does she has a bag yet and any milk?

From looking at that web-site I dont think she would care if it was a yorkie father or not! That would just make it a "designer breed" :mad: This girl is so lucky to have found you!

...at least if it was with another dog, it would be a small one...hopefully. I took her back today when Igot off work since her temp was still around 99 and they did an ultrasound and said that she could go very soon because she doesnt have but a couple fluid pockets....all heartbeats are good and strong...all 4-6 of them!!....and the pups were small enough that she should not have any problems.

her temp has been down around 99 for over 12 hours, how much longer should she have? whats the major sure signs to look for since most of them she has been doing for a couple days now.

:confused: shes back to pacing...has been for the past couple of hours....she keeps getting into her whelping bed and digging at the covers and laying down then jumping out and pacing again. she acts like shes trying to lick herself but she cant cause she is so big....

Sounds like it could be any time now! Do you know what her temp is?

puppies are on the way. don't worry about taking her temp right now she is in early labor. if she is slow getting the sack off their heads you might have to do that but sounds like she has plenty of experience. keep us updated

no...her temp is 99.1 and she does is swollen back there. this morning she started getting between her bed and the wall and when I let her out of her room to mop her floor she ran straight under our bed. hopefully it will be sometime soon. :confused:

I dont even want to see her!! I dont know what I would do if I did see her, knowing how hard it has been to get kiley to open up and trust us and knowing how badly she was treated. I wish there was a way to shut her down.

Well hopefully you will be seeing puppies here today yet or tonight.I would probably be calling no vet tomorrow am if no babies.It is a sunday also do you have a good vet you could call and just talk to if needed? Her temp has been down to 99 for 24 hours hours or getting close.
I am very lucky for my vet is 24/7 ,I have called him well after hours on holidays his daughters graduation (that could not be helped we had eclampsia) etc.
