| When she is having them, is it alright to watch over her and encourage her and let her know she is doing a good job? or should we just leave her at it? She moved to the closet and is in her whelping box. Just want to know what I should do if the time comes tonight. |

| Oh, you should definately be there for her, especially if she needs assistance! I am sure some of the breeders will chime in here shortly. Keep us updated.

| Tonight is definatley the night. She came in here about 20 minutes ago and wanted me to rub her tummy, so I did. The pups were really playing when she turned on her back. So I rubbed her tummy for about 5 minutes then she tried to turn back over and I helped her. She was waddling as fast as she could out my door to my mothers room and she discharged a little right before she left my room. She is in her whelping box tearing things up in there with her digging and she is panting like crazy. We will have pups tonight |

| congrats on the babies. as far as the grey one, this could be a "blue baby" there are lots of post about these babies. you will need to read up on it. some live a long life w no problems, others have to be put down. if it is a blue baby, the mommy should not be bred again. give mommy lots of hugs and kisses from all of us again congrats
