| when i got peanut, his breeder was supposed to send me his papers, i never got them, after weeks of waiting, i drove to her house. it was empty! moved out...so i caled akc because peanut was akc, and i told them my problem, her name and old address. well she finally called me a week later from her new house to pick up the papers, she wasnt too happy lol she was getting all her paperwork etc together for akc...i guess they asked for documents or something.... try calling the one/ones your pup is registered with and see what they say.... good luck

| Unfortunately there's not much you can do legally. Unless you have something in writing it's your word against the breeders. Just go to every Yorkie site that you can find and tell your story. Be sure to name the breeder and where they are located. We've always neutered our dogs. When the papers came back from the AKC they went in the drawer and never came out again. If you're not going to breed him you really don't need the AKC papers. Don't dwell on it. |
