| ![]() I won't ship my puppies either. I've seen and heard of too amny horror stories. I have one going from Texas to Denver in 2 weeks and I am going to Oklahoma and they are meeting me there or having a friend meet me. There are also things like puppy trains. Someone takes the puppy to the border of their state and someone from that state meets them ans drives the next "leg" of trip and meets someone else to take puppy on the next "leg" etc. We used to do this a lot with parrots when I was doing parrot rescue! There are certainly enuf people on this site alone that might want to help in this kind of situation. I know it worked really well with the birds. Just some food for thought! ![]() ![]()

when you ship thru an airline, they give you a tracking number so you can see when they get on and off a plane. when she switched planes in atlanta, they noted when they took her off.....waited a hour and ck'd, then it showed when she was put on a plane. don't get me wrong, they do get scared (this happens any time you take them away from what they know )but it is all forgotten when they see you. i think it is very safe and the airlines will not let them fly if the weather is too cold.

| ![]() Both my pups (11 mos, 6 mos) and my daughter's pup (8 mos) were shipped to us when they were about 11-12 weeks old - all three did fine. Our vet checked them out the day after they arrived and all three were in excellent health.

| ![]() now Lisa! who do you think? LOL the person buying the puppy purchases an online ticket .Rountrip). It is a little more expensive than shipping the dog alone but they know the puppy is taken care of and to a lot of people it is well worth it. Most breeders charge 250 for a shipping fee. very few will just cgharge you what the airline for the dog costs. There is a crate to buy, health certificates and etc. Plus your time and trouble of getting the puppy to the airport so for not a lot more than that, I can deliver. Then I buy the carrier, paay for the health certifcate and etc. Which by the way, not one person on continental asked for a health certificate or the receipt to show that the puppy in cabin fee of 95. was paid. |

| ![]() believe me they are fine. i don't think it is any different than putting them in your car and traveling. they sleep for most of the part. as long as the weather is good, there are no problems. also, the flight is so fast, they are on the ground befor you know it. it is not selfish.

Absolutely. How many of you have flown w/ your dogs in the cabin w/ you? What did they do most? Sleep, well imagine if they were puppies again...that's really all they would do after the first 5 minutes. ![]() Get a carrier you trust and just follow certain guidelines and odds of all being well are clearly in your and the pups favor! ![]() ![]() |
