| Both the sire and the dam look like they are lacking in pigment. Perhaps the pups are lacking in pigment as well and will start out light and stay light.

| They look chocolate to me. Have you had them to vet yet? Like to see what he says. I don't think their blue. I've never heard of an all blue litter...they don't look blue to me.

| If you could post pedigrees or at least the lines behind your babies, it might help people to determine what you might have. The parents do look very light, but your puppies are cute.

| they are gorgeous puppies but it's odd for a whole litter to be born off colour like blue or chocolates i wouldn't mind having chocolate for myself.

| Parents are very light & moms ears are down. I thought chocolates were a mutation and you would not get more then one in a litter, but I dont know. I do know just because you have akc papers & pay a nice price doesnt mean you will get akc quality dogs. I'm sure they will sell as beloved pets at a nice price. Congratulations. |

| They look chocolate to me. I too was shocked to see the entire litter have a color anomaly. I also came to Yorkie Talk when a color anomaly happened in a litter of mine in 2005 (2 reds and 2 standards). You can use the search engine above in the darker blue bar to look up some chocolates. You can also PM me if you'd like to discuss getting off-standards in a litter produced by 2 AKC standards (the sire of my litter had champions in the line also). The pups look great! |

| They look "born blue" more then ever...I see no chocolate at all and if they were, the leg hair would be growing..but as we know, time will tell... |

| Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Aren't chocolates born with little brown noses ?? they look kind of brown to me... but the bodies look more silvery than I would think a chocolate would look like...I remember Julz's puppies so well...that one of them all together is still one of my fav pictures - they looked like little puppy sausages |
