I always wanted girls. Just had it in my mind that girls were better pets (probably because of childhood experience). I never put clothes on a dog before my Yorkies so it wasn't the accessorizing. Just some idea stuck in my head. All that changed when we got Ben -- I was on a waiting list for a female but had expressed interested in breeding and the breeder called me about seeing this beautiful little male at another breeder's place. Off we went "just to look." LOL! We walked in and my DH handed his wallet jokingly to the lady. We were both that taken with the little guy! And he has not dissappointed us since. What a loving dog! He is my cuddler while my little girl is a wild woman. I have the best of two completely different personalities. But I will never think anything against having a male dog again.

I love my babies but my boy is such a mommas boy and a lover boy!! My girl is more of a daddys girl and she only cuddles and give kisses when ever she feels like it.

Males or females , I never had problems placing them in very good homes .

One day , a man and a woman came to look at the puppies . They were convinced that a girl was for them . I let them play with the puppies for a little while . A little boy caught their attention by always coming back to them and playing alot . They finally decided to take him home with them . Few days later , I received a phone call and they emailed pictures , telling me they will never ever judge a book by its cover . Jason brings them joy and happiness.
I have the chance to see him often and it is always a joy to talk with his owners .

Boys are lovers all the way.
I always had males and wanted a female this time just to experience
the difference. Saw Buddy and it was love at first sight.
I hope you do find wonderful homes for you males.

People wake up in Fla. You have no idea what you missing not owning
a male!

i think most people think males pee all over the place and hump all the time
i have 3(had4) and none of them has done any of it

i perfer males

i agree 1000% boys are lovers and they are funny too don't get me wrong I love my girl but she acts so prissy and stuck up sometimes its crazy.

I have always had boys, never had any girls but I really don't mind having girls or boys because I just love small dogs so the gender doesn't really matter to me. However, I have always prefer mellow and sweet temperament dogs. I had a high energy one before and I find that being me, I can barely keep up with the dog.I do agree 100% that all my boys are kissers and lovers and sticks to you all the time.

I prefer boys - I've always had male dogs. The girl just seem to be a lot more maintenance.

I myself am a good example. I was looking for a girl........(I have only owned female pets).....until Bobbi was put here for sale and I fell in love instantly. I could kick myself for having never considered a boy. He is the best thing that happened to me in 2006 and is such a kisser

Throwing my 2 cents in, Windsor is much more lovey and laid back then ZsaZsa is. I love them both but have always found the male animals in my life to be more affectionate, birds, cats and dogs.

I want to get Lillie a playmate so bad. I'm not interested in breeding, I just want her to have a companion. I thought I wanted another girl. The reason I didnt want a boy was of the peeing, I didnt want him to squirt all over the place. I love my little girl so much, but would she get along with either sexes?

My boy and all the girls get along fine except for a couple of days last week when I posted about two of the females fighting. it was a jealousy thing. They did it two days straight but have been super good to each other and my litter of puppies since.

The only time mine didn't get alone is when I first brought Petey into the house and at the time I didn't know why Bell didn't like him (now I know that it was because Lilly her daughter was still very young and Bell didn't want him near her.) and then again when Bell had her puppies, Petey went to investigate and Bell almost ripped his head off) Other then that all is well!
