| I will need alot of ADVICE and guidness.. My Daisy she is 10 mths, frist heat, 12 day, and my daughter yorkie tied with my Daisy.. (Now I am already kicking myself... I was not going to breed her until she was in her thrid heat. and that was doubtful) So what are the odds my baby is going to have babies? They were tied for at least 10min. if that matters? What should I perpare myself for? I have been reading and I know it is not good to breed so young, But it happened... IS THERE SUCH A THING AS A MORNING AFTER PILL FOR DOGS? Please do not yell at me ..you could not yell at me louder than I have already have..

| I'm no breeder, but at day 12, my guess is she's probably pregnant. How big is she and how big is he. |

| Actuakky they used ti have a day after pill but it had to be given at a certain time and so forth, I would call your vet and see what the risks either way. Weight is not a great deciding factor for dogs either. I hear weight all of the time but bone structure is a big one, SHe could be 10 lbs and have small bone structure and still need a c-section. Onl way to knwo is to ask the vet. I have never used the day after pill but I do recall hearing of it some time ago. Bonnie |

| I went through a similar thing... I contacted my vet about the day after shot and he said they dont do it because it's too risky and it would be more safe for her to have the pups. How they explained it was the shot could or could not fix the problem, if it didnt fix it she could have deformed puppies or premature labor. I opted out and my little one will have pups in about 2 weeks. I am very nervous and hope all goes well. She has her x-ray next week to see how many and how big. Good luck and I will keep my fingers crossed for no puppies. |
