I went through a similar thing... I contacted my vet about the day after shot and he said they dont do it because it's too risky and it would be more safe for her to have the pups. How they explained it was the shot could or could not fix the problem, if it didnt fix it she could have deformed puppies or premature labor. I opted out and my little one will have pups in about 2 weeks. I am very nervous and hope all goes well. She has her x-ray next week to see how many and how big. Good luck and I will keep my fingers crossed for no puppies.
