| Hi, This thread is old, but thought I'd post anyway. I have bought two Yorkies from Wanda at Moonlight Kennels. Both are beautiful, healthy, and conform to standard. You can tell they were raised with love. Also, I had no trouble with any of the paperwork. Do your research- it is your heart, time and money on the line, but keep and open mind as well. Being small and snobby does not make a breeder legit, and a larger breeder is not automatically running a mill. |

He's 11 years old, she hadn't updated her text for him. It's really a shame, that poor pooch could have enjoyed a nice retired life years ago. Her breeding females are waaaayyyy to tiny... it's ridiculous.

| Moonlight Kennels is where my Trouble came from. He was bought by a friend of mine for my son after I lost Gizmo in February. I did speak to a lady named Wanda several times. She answered all my questions, and sent me both parents pedigrees and verification of their health checks. She also sent me more pictures of the puppy that had been selected. When we picked him up at the airport, he was very happy, playful, and clean. I was very surprised that he was so clean. He was healthy, and still is. He is around 6 lbs now, and will be one year old in December. He was not scared, or timid. She requested that I call her once I had him, I called her when we got him from the plane, and she called me the next day. I sent her an E-mail just a few weeks ago when the puppy (Trouble) won a spot on a local calandar. She responded and remembered me and which puppy I was talking about. At the time I did not know about puppy mills or purchasing a puppy on line, but the experience I had with them was a good one. This is my Trouble as a puppy when he first came home, and Trouble now.

But, she still has the same adults on the site that you all were talking about over a year ago. I can't look at those pictures any more. It makes my stomach churn for some reason. I just get a bad gut feeling. I read somewhere that she is selling her babies for like $1800 a puppy?

| Did anyone else notice she has her " sister site" listed TeacupPoodles.Net I wonder if she raises these pups too right in her house!! Sounds like a big ole scam to me and she must be a puppy mill... Shame on her for decieving people...I really wonder if those are the parents.. They dont really seem on the " tiny" teacup , side of weight, my Laci was 2.8 pounds when I got her at 12 weeks, the breeder told me she would probally weigh 5-6 pds when full grown, ( I dont know if that is correct ) its what she told me, but that isnt really tiny isnt that just average... ??? I just answered my own question: she must have loads of puppies running around her house what a liar: My name is Goldie and this is our poodle story. I would like for you to take a look around our site to view our beautiful teacup poodle and tiny toy poodle puppies. Our poodles have coats of many colors such as: white, black, red, apricot, silver, chocolate and parti. I have been raising poodle puppies for nearly 18 years, so you are sure to get the best teacup poodle and tiny toy poodle puppies in the United States. My obligation does not stop when you purchase one of teacup poodles or tiny toy poodle puppies. I will be here for as long as you need me, so if you have a poodle problem down the road maybe I will be of some help. I will be here 24 poodle hours a day. You can call me on our poodle hotline at 318-386-6276 or e-mail me at info@ goldiesyorkies.com if there is a poodle problem. I hand-raise all my teacup poodle and tiny toy poodle puppies. My home is usually full of teacup poodle and tiny toy poodle puppies running around and playing. When poodle playtime is over, teacup poodles and tiny toy poodle puppies need a nice safe place to unwind and take a poodle nap. Teacup poodles and tiny toy poodle puppies are inquisitive and love to investigate everything. So for their poodle protection they need a place where they can be safe. After all you can’t watch poodle puppies every minute of every single day. I have several suggestions: Last edited by jeanm1963; 04-30-2009 at 03:23 AM. |

| Senior Yorkie Talker | Hi all, I got apple from moonlight. I think she is just perfect. The only problem that I have is that it is about a month and I still have not received her akc papers and I have tried to call and left a message for a call back and have not received a response. I called when I first received apple and she assured me that she was working on sending me her papers. Still waiting. I will keep everyone updated as to whether or not I receive my paper work

| Yorkie Talker | Yes I have purschased my first yorkie from Moonlight Kennel in january 2008. I was told that my yorkie would be a smaller yorkie but He is pounds to date. Even though I love him very much I noticed that he had a hump in his back three months after I got him. The offered to exchange with another puppy but I loved him to much. So beware |

And, Jean, Laci will probably be about 5 - 6 pounds full grown (usually, you double the weight at 12 weeks, tripple it at 8 weeks to get an approximate adult weight). That is average sixe for a Yorkie. So, your breeder is spot on! What I find interesting about the goldie's site is that she lists the "breed" of the puppy as "tiny teacup." What the heck is that? There is no such breed!!! There is only one Yorkshire terrier, no variations. Makes me pretty mad. I bet she gets a lot of "buyers" who don't do their homework.
