Hey there girls, as far as Moonlight Kennels, my Tiffanies Father came from that Kennel. I was told by Tiffanies Father's owner that they had Champinoinship blood lines well I email Moonlight Kennels requesting that info. last May when Tiffanie had her 1st litter and to this day they have NEVER contacted me with nothing, I left my phone # too. I will tell U that Tiffanie is a silky and she is BIG for a Yorkie...10 lbs. and Tiffanies mother and father I was told by their owner that they have 1 big puppy in each litter. Well Tiffanie did the same thing with Sir. Lancelot he is big like Tiffanie. He is with my oldest daughter for I couldn't find a forever home for him for he is gonna be big...Sir. Lancelot is coming back home to us for my daughter's landlord said she couldn't keep him, so now I need to find a forever home for him. I have 3 yorkies now myself. But I know Tiffanie does have a beautiful silky coat and her colors are so pretty, she is just big all over, bone wise. Teddy my male is smaller at 6 lbs and so is her other 3 puppies they I think will be around Teddys size. I just thought I'd let U know, they may tell U U're gonna get a smaller puppy and that baby may end up big like Tiffanie??? If U'd like some close up photos of Tiffanie let me know and I'll post some so U can see her coat and how it pretty it is and yep how big she is! Who knows? Hugs, Lee and Babies

Vee..you had to push me..LOL I have talked with Moonlight in the past and something does not make sense. On the phone they knew so little about pedigrees and bloodlines, but on the site they have champions and talk about the champion lines...just seemed odd to me.

After reading this post I was very concerned because I had purchased a puppy from Goldie. We just got back from the vet and he said I had a very healthy puppy. He conplemented the beeder on the quailty I my puppy, saying I should breed him because of his qualities. I can't speak for anyone else, but I would surely purchase another puppy from Goldie

I also am wary because of the fact that each website has like, 10 puppies for sale? If there were like 2-3, that would be fine, maybe even 5 (if she just had a litter), but 10+? First off, no Yorkie should be having more than 5 pups, no one should be breeding multiple Yorkies at the same time, and reputable breeders don't breed unless they know that there are people who are going to be buying their Yorkies. (which is why many have waiting lists) Also, her females are quite small and the males are not that small. IF you were to breed a 4lb Yorkie (not really recommended!), you need to breed it with a 2lb male Yorkie, not a 4lb male Yorkie. Don't EVER feel bad about asking "too many questions". A responsible breeder is just as concerned as you are - they only want the best homes for their dogs. You asking questions shows them that you're a responsible owner. I've asked breeders 20+ questions, the majority of them have happily replied back, and sent me a list of questions of their own. If a breeder doesn't inquire about you - that's a MAJOR red flag as well. Last edited by maybeiloveyou; 05-12-2007 at 01:24 PM.

If I remember right, some years back, there was a yorkie chat list until it was found out that the person who ran it was a somewhat puppymiller. That was moonlight kennels. When it came out on the list about their breeding practices and their treatment of their dogs, they quickly shut the list down. As for goldies, a lot of red flags there too. Size, advertising teacups, age, all point to an unreliable breeder. Baron

Yes, it is completely gone now, and has been for quite a while. I remember when they removed it because they got soooo much feed back about how they hid their actual doings by having that list and pretending to be good breeders. The truth always comes out sooner or later. Baron
