| how many toes OK I know this is going to sound strange but can you tell if a Yorkie is full blooded by how many toes they have? If so how many toes they suppose to have? |

No. And like most dogs they should have four on each foot in the rear (unless they're a Beauceron or a breed that requires dewclaws on the rear feet as well) and they should have four on each paw in the fron-five if they still have one dew claw on each foot. You can tell a Yorkie is a purebred (full blooded) by receiving his/her parent club pedigree papers. And you can guess as to whether one is purebred just by looking at it's phenotype and seeing if agrees somewhat to the standard. |
