I didn't know ANY of those! Of course my ears perk up about any cleft palate info since I have a baby with one. But her mom never had liver.

I'm one of those newer breeders who are open to learn as much as possible because every birth is going to be different, you just NEVEr know what to expect. I have another litter due in a couple weeks....I hope you are there for me if I need you! You've been a tremedous help to everyone! Even to me in the past with my past litter with my cleft baby! So i'll be watching this thread for all the breeding info!!! You can never know enough!

Unfortunately I can't think of anything dog-related, but here's neat little nugget of knowledge I bet you never thought of...

When you look up at the night sky, you are actually looking into the past. Due to the physics of light travel, the farther an object is away from Earth, the longer it takes for its light to travel to Earth. When the light finally reaches Earth, we are essentially seeing it the way it looked when it originally left the object millions or billions of years ago.

I just thought about another one:

If you give your own vaccinations, DONT clean the area with a swab and alcohol - it will deactivate the vaccine and it will be useless - I said more than WOW when I learned that beings that I had given many vaccines using this technique!

OMG!!! We give our own and wipe with alchohol!!!!! on no! We actually are going to give Tia (cleft) her second round this weekend! So...just don't do anything, just give the vaccine?

Works everytime...even on my brand new couch!

You can also put dawn on the spot of oil and then throw it in the washer and wash as normal and no oil stain...
