| Sometimes they do that. He may be getting tired, if so, best to rest, keep them apart and try later. He has to be close on her. Once they ever tie, that one experience will be his incentive and he'll remember how it happened. Then you have to consider if she's still not ready. Some ovulate really late. I had an accidental breeding on day 21 of her cycle that took. |

| I don't know how long it takes them to show but I know that they can get pregnant the first time locking, they can even get pregnant without locking. They do start showing the most a few weeks from their delivery due date. I am just not sure when they first start showing. According to the website you went on, your vet should know by day 28-32 whether or not she is pregnant.

| it can take 30 days to tell if she is pregnant. this is when you need to take her to the vet to confirm (30 days). the vet can do a test but why spend the money? some yorkies dont show at all and most show the last 3 weeks.

| My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | As long as mine is healthy and everything is going good....I'm not making my appointment until they can do an xray. I've seen the exam to see if they are pregnant........ I can do that myself! So as long as everything is going fine....I'm waiting. |

| I can usually feel walnut sized bumps about 3 1/2 to 4 weeks. Some experience nausea and anorexia for a few days at approx. 3 weeks, so that is a good clue. They all seem to act a little more clingy right from the start, but that usually begins during heat and is caused by hormones and since they are technically pregnant as far as hormones go whether they are bred or not, probably not a good indication. So other than a relaxin test (dog pregnancy test) probably no way to tell and I'm not sure when that test is even taken. |

not really. it would be hard for a vet as well. at 30 days, i can barely tell but after the 30 days.....wow wow wow...they start getting bigger and you can see the puppies moving note.....some yorkies only have 1 or two pups so sometimes you can't even tell at all.
