| No such thing as a stupid question so ask away! Lepto is something your dog can catch from the urine of wild animals like squirrel, fox, raccoon etc. The animal sheds the bacteria in their urine, your dog walks through it and licks their paws later and that's how they get it. That's how it was explained to me. Small dogs can have very bad reactions to the shot although some are fine with it. |

| I know Venus got the shot, and it did make her sick for about 12 hours. Thank you my2boyz for explaining it. I'm glad she got the shot, cause my backyard is full of squirrels, and a raccoon has been spotted in a few folks yards here, although we're in the city. |
