Lepto is something your dog can catch from the urine of wild animals like squirrel, fox, raccoon etc. The animal sheds the bacteria in their urine, your dog walks through it and licks their paws later and that's how they get it. That's how it was explained to me. Small dogs can have very bad reactions to the shot although some are fine with it. |
