Gracie's pups are doing marvelous. Got tails & claws done, and that was hard on Gracie AND me! But they are such little piglets! Nursing constantly.

I also LOVE the little puppy pile. I don't know how they are able to breathe, all on top of each other like that, but it's so cute!

Gracie is the best mom. I couldn't have asked for better. We human moms could sure learn alot from her (I'm speaking mainly to myself here!)!

I just weighed ours and today is day 4 and little fat girl has gained 2 1/2 oz and little boy 2 oz..is that too much gained? I can't keep my hands off of them...a cute funny that happened today. We don't let Yogi around Dori and babies unless supervised, and he went and got a chew roll and took it to the front of the whelp box, layed it down, backed up about a foot and layed down like that was his peace offering. Was too funny. Our little city is about 25,000, we have had about 4 phone calls since they have been born inquiring if we would sell the pups......Nope

OH WOW ! CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE NEW PUPPIES BORN & their Moms !!! and Happy Birthday to all you little tiny babies -

This must have set a YT Record for the numbers of puppies in such a short time and HATS OFF TO the Breeders who were there for them

Man - I'm jealous you all get to see puppies being born - but I'd be a puddle of jello on the floor if one of my girls gave birth - I think I'd be sleeping in my vets parking lot

To Sugars Mom and I love Lucy - I'm sorry for the lost ones....Nature works miracles but can also crush us with a swift blow. Cherish what you do have and all the best to you.

thank you so much Villette. Silk is doing great. She is eating like a horse, drinking very little, peeing well. No poop yet tho. has even beenoutside for short potty trips twice today. I don't think she has any milk tho and the vet said if it didn't come down by this time today, iam going to have to feed every twohours which I have been doing anyway. My little girl seems to be doing great but i don't know. She weighed 5.8 yesterday at birth. this morning she weighed 5.4 and this afternoon late she weighed 5.4 so idon't know but i think it is normal to lose the first day. she seems very content and Silk is a wonderful mother.
