Man - I'm jealous you all get to see puppies being born - but I'd be a puddle of jello on the floor if one of my girls gave birth - I think I'd be sleeping in my vets parking lot To Sugars Mom and I love Lucy - I'm sorry for the lost ones....Nature works miracles but can also crush us with a swift blow. thank you so much Villette. Silk is doing great. She is eating like a horse, drinking very little, peeing well. No poop yet tho. has even beenoutside for short potty trips twice today. I don't think she has any milk tho and the vet said if it didn't come down by this time today, iam going to have to feed every twohours which I have been doing anyway. My little girl seems to be doing great but i don't know. She weighed 5.8 yesterday at birth. this morning she weighed 5.4 and this afternoon late she weighed 5.4 so idon't know but i think it is normal to lose the first day. she seems very content and Silk is a wonderful mother.
