Thats is almost exactly what I thought when I clicked on it and it said 3 new Morkie Puppies. I almost instantly closed it. I guess a lot of people think a Morkie is a breed of dog. They don't know its a cross breed.

| ![]() ![]() I wish when I responded to an add for a yorkie from Jarbeth's kennel I would have known she did not raise them, in fact she completely hid these and other facts. When our little girl was delivered (she was in the suv with other dogs being delivered, and shipped cargo air), she had ear mites so severe that the vet was astonished. Also, a resperatory infection that we had to deal with every 3 hours. Many other issues! This has been extremely hard for us and her, as well as very expensive. She had another issue last week. We love her dearly and will do whatever we need to do to make her little life as perfect as possible. That said, I wish I would have listened to the warning signs my head was giving me from the start. Their web site sounds very "Christian" but she will not admit anything until she gets caught and then throws in the "old lady down the road that she is trying to help". Give me a break. |

| ![]() OK, Missouri is labeled as a puppy mill, I'm sure we have are share of them. But before you go casting those stones remember their are members on the Forum from Missouri and I for one can give you names of more than a few good, wonderful, reputable Yorkies breeders which happen to be located in Missouri. |

![]() As far as suggesting that you claimed it was it's own breed of dog...that was a comment made by another member, not myself. ![]() Last edited by BamaFan121s; 05-12-2009 at 06:20 AM.

| ![]() I purchased a Chihuahua from Jarbeth Kennel last spring and he has been the best dog I have ever owned! He was healthy, well-socialized, and already trained to go potty outside. They gave him to us at 12 weeks of age, instead of the usual 8 weeks, which is essential to the social development of these tiny dogs. They provided me with all of his health information, including the stickers from his first immunizations. They also gave us a packet of information on Chihuahuas, vitamin supplements, a free first visit to the veterinarian, and a large packet of Royal Canin small breed puppy food, as well as a recommendation to feed Royal Canin Chihuahua food as an adult. Before we picked him up they sent us an email with pictures of his parents and multiple pictures of him as a baby and as he was growing up. They also sent a very long email of recommendations about how to prepare for his arrival and how to take care of him. They provide a 1 year health guarantee (as well as a free first visit to the veterinarian so you can get him a check up). So far he has been extremely healthy and happy, he has had one urinary tract infection, but nothing since then. He recently turned one year old and we continue to be amazed with our perfect puppy! I highly recommend purchasing a puppy from these breeders, based on my personal experience. Whenever we go on walks we get constant praise from strangers who tell us how darling our little boy is, and I tell all of them where I got him! Attached is a picture of Charlie as a ladybug for halloween ![]() |

However, this is an old thread, it is very interesting that you have posted once and in defense of this breeder who breeds multiple breeds, along with cross breeding. The Members on this forum are very savy on picking out reputable breeders for yorkies, as this is what this forum is about. USDA is a big red flag, people that are breeding & living off the backs of their dogs.

| ![]() I was going to buy a Newfoundland puppy from them that they said they didn't want to register,(Even though supposedly the parents are AKC and both there on site)because they wanted him to be a pet. I brought up limited registration which is designed specifically for the purpose of registering your purebred but not for breeding or showing purposes. They completely ignored that and continued to acccuse me repeatedly that I wanted him for breeding. I meantioned a pedigree and was told that I just needed to take their word for it that the puppies were purebred and had no inbreeding, Besides according to them inbreeding only matters if you are going to breed the animal. According to them inbreeding doesn't have any effect on an animal that is solely a pet! And in their emails they called me uneducated, Ha, That's funny!!! I also wanted to go to their facility to pick the puppy up. They ABSOLUTELY would not let me under any circumstances! I wish I could post the ongoing emails, but the file is to big. It would leave most of you speechless. In my initial email telling them that I had changed my mind about the puppy and that I understood that I would not be receiving my deposit back, I said that "I had researched the breed but not breeders and I nievely thought that basic morals and values were standard" and I felt as though they weren't being completely forthcoming with me about the puppys' lineage. Their response and I quote was "Basic morals and values are not standard in the business place" but I should just "take their word on it and build a relationship on trust" If anyone has any doubts about Jarbeth kennels I would be more than happy to share more of my very recent experience with them. Good luck finding your sweet little babies but as far as Jarbeth Kennels goes, I say buyer beware. P.S. We did find a sweet little AKC registered newfoundland male and we couldn't be more happy! He makes our family complete!!!! |

| ![]() Hello, My name is Marie and I happen to be a daughter of the owner's of JarbethKennel and Ya'll need to do your research on them a little better. I have worked on the family farm for 13 years and never once have they been neglectful of the dogs, adults or puppies, they are one of Missouri's most reputable breeders and have always passed State Inspection with flying colors. For those of you who have bought a puppy or are getting one from JarbethKennel, thank you. For those of you who have not bought one or are not planning on getting a puppy from one of Missouri's best breeders, you are missing out the best dog you'll ever own. JarbethKennel is not just any dog kennel, it is also the home of many great animals, people and everyone there is well taken care of. |
