I must say (and this may sound weird) but this is my first SMALL yorkie and boy, he has the smallest testicles I've ever seen! I guess I'm used to the larger dogs!

I've contacted my breeder and she said her vet examines for testicles being down before she sells.

I'm hoping I'm worrying for nothing?

If your having doubts, ask your vet next time you bring him there. Better to be safe

According to my vet, both testicles should be detectable shortly after birth. Early research indicates that late descending testicles is hereitary and those males with delayed descending testicles are questionable as breeding prospects.

Just wanted to let you's know I checked yesterday and I felt two testicals on Brodie. I was releived! Seems when I catch him relaxed they are both down hangin'

But if I get him tense, thats when the one seems to go up.

So I think everything is ok! Plus my breeder had told me thats part of the vet check they get before going to new homes and her vet never mentioned any issues.

I'm releived

yikes. males really shouldnt be bred until they are two at least anyways and after all health checks.

He's only 6 1/2 months old so no I'm not using him for breeding right now. If I decide to, he would be completely checked out my vet, as well as I do my females. If given the OK, then yes, my plans are to use him. ONLY if everything checks out ok.

Well I keep checking him over and over and they are both down and staying down. Everything is looking fine.

Yes, nondecending. But it may still drop. Wait and see for a few more months - usually the smaller the yorkie - they may take longer to drop.
If it doesn't drop - IMO I would have him altered.
