She is getting fat and lazy. We have 15 more days. She is shedding like crazy. I have all her supplies in a box waiting and I purchased an X-pen to put in my bedroom for her. I have a whelping box that fits in the pen. That way, these other wild babies won't bother her when she goes into labor. I plan on moving her in about another week cause she is still jumping off the couch (when she can get on it) I've got to put a stop to that.

Well, needless to say, I have been a little disappointed because I couldn't hear or feel any baby movement. THEN, my husband let me on one of his beagle breeding secrets. he told me to gently pat her on each side and it wakes the puppies up. i did that just now and sure nuff, wee got puppies moving. My husband says she has a "belly full" but i doubt that. her previous owner said she always has just two. two is probably all can handle this first time She is feeling very lazy these days. We have 13 days to go and I am ready. I put her x-pen up yesterday in a quiet place (my bedroom) LOL and her whelping box inside it and all her supplies. WHEWWW I hope I can do this right. I have studied Debbie's site until I can't anymore but I bet I will forget it all when the time comes.

silk is 55 days pregnant. Won't be long now!!!!! I marked 63 days on the calender to be next friday, a week from tomorrow but the canine reproduction calender put her due on thee 226th. I felt so sorry for her last night, I put her in her whelping pen with her box all ready. i think all these younger ones since the new ones came have gotten on her nerves. She can't get on the couch anymore where she loves to bee so she is on a pillow on the floor. She was so miserable, I just went ahead and moved her. She did well. It is in my bedroom and as long as she knows I am there she is fine. her milk is coming in and I see a difference day to day in her little belly. i am so excited. All plans have been canceled for next weekend and thee vet has been alerted.
