| Many Yorkies are over the 7lbs but that doesn't make them non-purebreds. If you read the history of the Yorkie they actually used to be bigger. Also people don't realize that 10-12lb Yorkie is still a small dog. It is also the way they are built that doesn't make them look that big.

| My furkids Donating Member | He looks like a yorkie to me! Size doesn't mean anything unless you are looking to show. My little Sadie's Mom was 10 lbs {Sadie weighs 5.5 lbs} and my neighbors boy is 11 lbs. They are adorable and very lovable.....If you are concerned about wether or not he is full yorkie I would ask your breeder to see both of the parents.

| Well, many have already told you that size doesn't mean anything (Ginger's 12 lbs, a proud, card-carrying member of the teapot club!). And I see you've been directed to the teapot thread. Your baby is adorable and sure looks like a yorkie to me!
