| I HAVE A ? RE preq testers i thought i read once that you can use human preg testers for puppies??? is this ture?? and if so, is it the same for the ovalation testers?? thanks for letting me know.

| Um, that would be a no. Pregnancy tests are designed to react to variances in female hormones...which are obviously different in dogs. Would be nice though... |

| Very $$ - why not just do an ultrasound? I know you have to wait a bit longer, but then you get to see them and their heartbeats if they are there!!

| I purchased these tests just to try them. Mine came in a box of 5. They do work, however, by the time they can detect pregnancy, an experienced vet should be able to palpate and feel the little "pearls" (pups). Last edited by char7; 09-16-2007 at 05:23 PM. |
