hey everyone...still no babies, she continues eating like a pig...today is day 65 from first breed date, she is holding out till they're damn good and ready

Kim, Mercedes lost her girly figure, dont think she can fit into the yellow pokadot bikini anymore

Wow almost a week later. Im not trying to be rude but evening breeders are some times not sure of the date.......And I know its hard to know what day took. Do you let your adults breed all week? Im just asking because I usually here breeders just breeding the two days and I know mine tied two days and then My Male got her again 4 days later. with breeding my larger dogs they had always had their pups on day 61-62 and I was wondering is it ok if your not sure what day was the day do you go by the first tie date or the last?and if going by the first is it ok to let them go another week?Im just trying to learn and understand more.

This was Mecedes first breeding and was bred to an unproven male "Harley"...that being said we bred every day for 5 days.

some count from the first breed date
some start counting 48 hours after first breed date
some count first breed date and last breed date and divide in 1/2


My kids usually whelp 61-62 days from 1st breed date
Since this is the first breeding with Mercedes only god and she know when its time if she doesnt whelp by tomorrow she is going to the vet to be checked again.

Thanks for taking the time to answer this. I do understand what your saying Minnie was breed on First tied Jan 8th and and then again the 9th . but 4 days later they tied again. Im pretty sure shes not preg. Theres no signs. But we are taking her to the vet just to make sure.
