| Mercedes x-ray we had our x-ray showed 3 pups perhaps a 4th. Said the pups heads look large and to be prepared for a c-section. Yikes I have never had to deal with a c-section. I am taking Mercedes to another vet tomorrow for a second opinion (my vet will be out of town from thursday until late sunday night and will not be available) This vet I am meeting with is about 45 mins away but comes highly recommended. Her 60th day is friday so I set up a plan "B" and I am thrilled I have. They're open saturday and sunday, staffed if a c-section is necessary and charge an additional $50.00 if she whelps afterhours. Ill let you know what he thinks tomorrow I am excited to meet him.

| Give Mercedes huge smoochies from Rini and the cuties. Y'all are gonna be fine but better to have and not need, than to need and not have. That translates to great idea to have plans A,B and C as a back-up. |

| I agree, good to have Plan A, B, and C if needed! Best of luck to Mercedes, Kimberly. Hopefully she will be able to whelp without the c-section, but I'm glad you are prepared! Good luck Mercedes....hugs from all your Aunties and Uncles. |

| plan I wish you all the best..and remember, big heads can come through a smaller pelvis. Puppy heads are soft like human babies...since there are 3 or 4, you might be fine..one or 2 huge ones seem to cause the problems. When I had Claire's xray done my vet was out of town..the backup vet said there were 2 big heads and she would need a section. Claire whelped fine with no help..BUT I have had tiny pups NOT come out of big girls..go figure it out. |
