Hahaha! That's great! I love perfume too and that stuff does not come cheap. I really like Hypnotic Poison by Christian Dior and it's about $50 a bottle!!

Having done just that, bartered a puppy for a website, I can enthusiastically say that we were very happy with the process. Stephanie, the web designer, sent me an email asking if I would consider trading one of my puppies for a website designed especially for my business. She took the information from my original website and sent me samples of what she could do. She did an excellent job, and we brokered a deal. My puppies usually sell for $1,800.00, so this was not an easy decision; however, I also knew that good quality website costs about that much. Stephanie got my website up and running last winter, and Rylee went to his forever home in August. In fact, I have Stephanie's picture on my website holding three of the babies. Her sister-in-law feel in love with Rylee, and contacted me to see if his brother, Henri, was still available. So, as a result of allowing Stephanie to trade her services for one of my puppies, I was able to sell Henri to her sil, and now Rylee and Henri are back together again. That is fantastic! Glad to see that I am not the only one with this idea. What actually motivated me to do this was also the fact that a lot of breeders have web sites, but they appear outdated. They are all using the old html style sites. I just figured I could bring some flare to the game. I tried to check out your link though and it doesn't want to come up. Is that the correct URL? I would love to see Stephanie's work!

I took the liberty of looking up your domain name registration to see if there was a problem (since your site isn't pulling up) and thought you might like to know that it says it expires on 2-18-2006. You may want to make sure that they have not suspended your domain name registration early. Not to worry though. If that is the case, you have a 30 day grace period to redeem your domain name.

Jessica, I posted on another thread that was started about your barter idea and I am not sure if you saw my post. I am not a breeder but I do have a website and I wanted to say that for the high quality you are providing your prices are very reasonable.You are very talented and breeders would definitely make a fair trade with you. I hope you find your puppy soon.

Yes, I did see your post and I could have swore that I replied to it. I know I looked at that web site in your signature and it is a great Flash site! I am assuming that is the web site you have?? I had also commented on the fact that I really like the art and the music too! I really do appreciate the fact that others are sharing their opinions and experiences with this type of situation. I think it is a great deal as well. I have had tremendous reviews of my web sites and feel that the sky is the limit for me. If I had more time and hands, my portfolio would be huge by now. I would love to work something out and then show everyone here the resulting web site. I know it would be phenominal. Anyway, thanks again and sorry if my reply got lost or something.

Hi Jessica, It is totally my fault..I couldn't find the other thread and thought maybe it had been deleted to boost this thread. I will go back and look for it. I understand what you mean about needing more time...most people do not understand the time that it takes to complete a flash website...there is a lot of intricate timing to consider.I did not do my website myself I had a wonderful designer like yourself and it was so worth it. The artwork is mine...I am an artist.
