Maybe we're bad parents, cuz we've always just thought it's cute when Yoda humps his stuffed cat, and we've always just let him do it, ever since he was a baby pretty much! But at least he's never humped anyone's leg or arm. | |

| great post. This should be a sticky on the general discussion board also because there are frequently posts from new yorkie owners who want to breed to have a puppy from their dog or because they think they want to get into breeding. I am completely sure that most people have no idea what it entails, including me! So here's to you Mr. and Mrs. great reputable breeders like the ones who post here (you know who you are!) this buds for you. Love that commercial! Seriously though, I do appreciate your knowledge and I enjoy reading your posts, and I'm not a breeder nor do I ever want to be one, lol, too much worry and work. |

| Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | While I was waiting for Baby Blessing at the vets office yesterday, couple there with a little three and half pound 18 month old Maltese, her puppies came early ( 5 days before) two died at birth then one died afterwards and they was in to the vets with only one alive, Mama Maltese refused to nurse or take care of it, so they were at the vets trying to save this one. I asked them why in the world would you breed your small Maltese, reply was they paid $1,800.00 and wanted to breed her and sell puppies to regain some of the money they paid for her. Oh, so sad. I think this happens far to often. So very very sad. Patti and ~~Baby Blessing~~ |

| Stacy, I pass this on to so many new folks all the time. I have noticed a lot of inquiries about breeding lately, and am happy to see this up top again! Thanks for posting this, Stacy.
