Reputable Breeder

I am looking for a new Yorkie. My last one died recently and I bought him in 2007 and my last breeder is no longer breeding. Im having trouble finding someone I trust who is not breeding designer puppies in a possible puppy mill.. I live in Nashville and would prefer a breeder in state but I will travel as needed to find a good puppy. I would appreciate any advice. There are no dog shows due to COVID or I would try there first. AKC pup only. And no parti carriers. Apparently Parti Yorkies are now AKC but I am old school.

HAPPY TAILS PET SPA breeds to show and often has pet caliber pups. Does all the testing and breeding studies for healthy Yorkers that represent the breed well

Thanks so much for posting this. I contacted Judy and she is still showing and breeding so I will be visiting her and checking out some possible pups. She looks to be a true reputable breeder !! And I had never heard of her or seen anything about her in google searches.
I saw one critical mega thread about her here on YT but I can see her side and don’t feel she acted in bad faith.

Has anyone else had any experience with Portrait Yorkies? I would love to hear from anyone who might have a dog from there.

By not replying is a red flag "buyer beware" you could have bred Cuz with a puppy mill female, who knows. Because you have Debs male means nothing.
Deb had quality breeding pairs, what do you have besides puppies sired by CUZ? If you were a reputable breeder you would have a web-site, instead you are on this board trying to sell these puppies, a reputable breeder would have a list of ppl waiting for your puppies.

Buyers beware of this person big RED FLAG here.

Are you people here always this nasty? I have never posted anything on this page ever. You jump to all kinds of negative assumptions about me from my webpage and Facebook page. Shouldn’t you look deeper into a person’s background and reputation before flagging them?

First of all, I suggest you read the rules on YT about posting puppies for sale.

Second: we are pointing out what we see. Open forum and opinions can be expressed within the TOS . Maybe YOU should be the one posting your reputation here.....all you did was get on here trying to sell puppies using another breeder's name. There are so many red flags here.....we care about the YORKIES here first!

I said I was on YT for a friend of mine who doesn't live near me and I am only friends with breeders in New England and we are very supportive of one another. I was looking for breeder info (hence being on breeder forums, if i was selling my puppies here I would be on another forum...DUH). I wanted to check out what was being said in other areas. I have bought dogs from OK and SD. I was intrigued about what was being said about Cruz. I love that dog and so I replied that I had puppies in case anyone wanted one of his offspring. Man I will never put myself out there again. I have the upmost respect for Deb as well. To take a dog to a Silver Grand Champion is not easy, I am sure. I did email her to tell her I had him. I am extremely honest and on the up and up. Maybe I am not at the level of a yorkie breeder like Deb but I do care about the breed and the health of my puppies and dogs I own. Everyone lives in my house and are our pets first. I believe I got Cruz because the person who had him knew I'd take care of him for the rest of his life. I have a huge yard and other dogs he plays with. He is extremely happy and well cared for. He can no longer be bred after he turns 12 since I can't register the offspring with AKC. AKC registration is important to me. So I got a few litters out of him. He is a senior dog. He sleeps with me under my covers. People who come to my house know full well that I am not a backyard breeder or a puppy mill. They see for themselves how my dogs are cared for. The only reason I am on here now is to explain to you knuckleheads that you're all wrong because you are trying to ruin my reputation. You have read into what i am saying at every turn in the negative. You're right, you cant read my mind or know what my intent is but you bash me right away without questioning me. You people are nasty. God bless you all.

Actually all you said was you had 4 puppies available sired my Cruz and that was it! A male should stop being bred way before 12. All things can from your mouth. What came from your mouth is shady and not reputable.

Also for your buddies, I follow AKC rules and it's only your opinion that dogs as old as Cruz shouldn't be bred. Also, I have his papers and he is in my name. I am not going to AKC. You know their rules.....is that supposed to impress me? Everyone knows that AKC means about nothing in terms of reputable which is not a term I would use when referring to YOU and your breeding.

The AKC rules are crap and even puppy mills follow them. The AKC is about money not integrity something you and they have in common. I’m also positive Deb is not happy with you breeding him…. LadyJane takes care of the messes you and people like you make so she is a very busy woman.

Deb didn't sell to this woman. Susan Dodge apparently did....but I am not even sure about that. I believe that Susan had him. Both Deb and Susan are retired. I cannot imagine either of those women approving of breeding Cruz.
