| Biewer yorkie I have always loved the biewer and would love to find one but it’s so hard to find a reputable breeder. I’m in North Texas and willing to drive a bit but would love one close by. Am I dreaming or are there any that I just haven’t found? |

| I LOVE Biewer's also. I hope you can find a good breeder near you.

| There’s a breeder in southern Colorado. Not exactly close to northern Texas, but not as far as the ones on the east coast. I don’t know anything about them, but their web page looks promising. https://www.biewerworld.com/ |

| Biewers are not yorkies so be very careful with that. If they say it's a Biewer Yorkie then it is a mix of a Biewer and a yorkie. They are actually their own breed. Back when I was looking for one there where still a lot of health issues they were trying to breed out. They also are about twice the price of a yorkie.

| Are they more expensive because they are more rare? I hear the akc is letting them in next year |

| Yes and because they recently were accepted by the AKC as a new breed. They sell between $3500. to $6000. and over.

| No. Parti is a yorkie with a different then traditional coloring and a Biewer Terrier is a different breed.

| Yikes, absolutely not. A Biewer terrier is a separate breed, a Parti is a yorkie, the parti color does not have a specific color pattern as a Biewer Terrier has. One can be duped into buying a Parti thinking it's a Biewer Terrier if they haven't done their homework on Biewers.
