| ![]() Hello all just bought two female Yorkies to breed I currently have a male yorkie who’s gonna be 1 this month what’s the best way to get the two females pregnant? The male is 11 pounds and looks like the females are half the size any tips would be great. |

| ![]() Spay and neuter. If you have to ask this question you should not be breeder. Your male is to large. Breeding should be done to better the breed meaning the songs you breed should be perfect examples of the breed. If you don’t know what you are doing you are risking your females life. The male should also be smaller then the females and genetic testing should be done. Although I highly doubt you want advise and are here to upset.

| ![]() Have you ever done any breeding? Doesn’t sound like it I don’t think people should breed teacups Yorkies should be much bigger making them much more healthier 16 lbs was the average weight before breeders starting breeding to make teacup Yorkies |

| ![]() Reputable breeders don’t breed for tiny nor do they use the word teacup but they do breed for the standard! It’s a mute point any way because your male is bigger then your females and not only could that significantly hurt and injure them during mating it could cause pups to large for her to birth. Spay and neuter.

I wouldn't allow the females to be in the same home as the male, until he has been fixed. Ditto, any other male dogs in the home. The females and the male can be severely injured in the mating process. Yorkie mamas can and do have a hard time giving birth. To reduce the loss of life, folks who do breed, match smaller males with larger females. Even when the male and female are properly sized for mating, the result is too often devastating. Here's a thread you should read--all the way to the end. YorkieX, "40 days in and I feel like she's way too big??" | |

| ![]() I believe I could breed larger Yorkies not as show dogs but more for companionship hopefully sell them for a good price to put money down on a nice acreage where I can have more room to breed more dogs |

| ![]() Sigh......Don't you get tired of coming on this forum with your foolish nonsense. First you were going to put your yorkie puppy down if it didn't make on the piddle pads, then rubbing the pups nose in it's pee, now you're here asking about mating an 11 pound male with 5.5 pound females. One day you will really need the help from this forum and we will not be here for you thinking once again it is a hoax. You know the story about the boy that cried wolf!!!!!!

You wanted advice and you have been given the best advice there is. You may not want to listen to this advice because it will not bring you the financial rewards you are seeking. But think about where you asked for this advice. No offense meant but we don't give a rat's rear end about your acreage. This advice is in the absolute best interest of the yorkies. It is given by extremely knowledgeable people who have seen the cruel effects of what you want to do. It is advice not given to hurt you but given to help the poor yorkies you want to benefit from. They are not machines to be used and tossed to the side. They are sentient beings who feel happiness, pain, loneliness, jealousy and the whole gamut of emotions. I hope you listen to the people here. They are not saying do not breed. They are saying to please do this in a responsible and humane manner. A male twice the size of the female is just plain cruel. There are many threads on this site that discuss breeding and give excellent advice. Find a mentor. Know what to expect during the whelping process. I hope you do the right thing for the dogs' sake.

| ![]() Yeah spay and neuter if the dogs even exists. Real good breeders don't do it for money and certainly don't make much when doing it right.

| ![]() Members on this forum have taken the time to give you the best advise, you come here as you have done in the past to upset members with your outrageous questions. Yes, I do look back to the past because all your past questions were not sincere questions, as is today's question.

| ![]() Everyone is ganging up well I see the true colours of people when asked for help Why crucify someone who is trying to start a legitimate business I’ve been open and honest I think it’s good to buy a acreage because it will be harder to breed Yorkies from my 1 bedroom apartment I have to keep them in a crate at all times and with a acreage they will be free to roam please try to support my endeavours with honest and thoughtful advice |
