| ![]() Elmer's pedigrees are on parchment and the 7 gen. peds are to die for. They have the info on each dog-name, breeder, owner when it was enetered into the AKC stud books and more including my personal fav--the dogs pic on the ped. I had a lot of nay-sayers when I reg my parti-marked boy, Remi, so I had Elmer do his ped with his pic on it. Needless to say, it is one of my favs. The 7 gen has 220 or so dogs and are as large as a poster. I LOVE them! Now, I just gotta find a 25 gen ped...LOL |

| ![]() I'd Love to have a 25 generation pedigree. Wonder if that would go back as far as Huddlesfield Ben? Probably not, but wouldn't you like to trace them that far back? I know thorobred horses can all trace thier ancestry back to the 3 "founding fathers" of the breed. Wonder if anyone has ever done that with Yorkies. It would be fun to research, though, if you had the time and knew how to find them. (Probably have to buy lots of books, too!!) |
