| What do you think of this coat?? Hi: Millie is now 4 months old and I don't see her coat filling out much. She has silky hair but not a lot of it. Do you guys think her hair will fill out as she gets older?? She looks like she has a lot a hair but its really thin.

Donating YT 14K Club Member | It's so hard to tell in pictures. She looks fine to me. Maybe you could have the breeder or a different breeder that knows yorkies check it out.

| I know how you feel my youngest Daisy is 4 months old and her hair is very thin, Chloe has really thick and cottony hair so she makes Daisy look bald!!! Your pup looks just fine to me.

| Yes yours looks like thick hair she is just so small I like my girls bigger, My Lilli had that wave to her hair like yours does I say she will be full of hair and when she does you will wish she had that good silk coat thats straight as a bone its easier to take care of |

| I'd say there's no way to really tell until her puppy coat grows out. Sully's puppy coat was course and hard to manage....but his adult hair is ooooh so soft and silky and shiny!

| Millie, is certainly a cutie pie. I think she will have a great coat when she gets grown.

| Her coat looks just fine. From what I see she might have a very nice extreme silky coat. If your are looking for more volume then you run the risk of coming across a somewhat more cottony coat. |

| Thank you everyone, I feel soooo much better. I thought maybe something was wrong with her coat.

| I am relieved at all of the posative posts! I too have been paraniod about my yorkie pup's coat. Her's looks thicker than your puppy's coat (except in the chesh and forehead area), but I've been worried about it being too wirey or "cottony". How do you tell if your 12 wk old has a coat like this? I think about the adjectives describing each and you would think it should be easy to tell, but I have no basis for comparison. ANy helpful hints? |
